PowerPoint Assignment

Over the past two days, I have learned a lot about PowerPoint and all it has to offer. I now know how to use my creativity in my slides by including backgrounds, sounds, animations, transitions, shortcuts etc. I think that learning these skills and techniques I can improve my own work and make my presentations the best they can be. I want my optimal PowerPoint presentation to feature lots of interesting facts and entice the audience. I want my project to include things that people enjoy looking at and want to learn more about. I'm not so sure what I want to do my presentation on yet, but I would like to do it on something I am interested in or just something that I can get other people interested in.

PowerPoint Reflection

After viewing the PowerPoint program today and seeing several examples of presentations that show all it has to offer, I have learned a lot. I learned very important key elements to make a presentation perfect. I learned that backgrounds and pictures can be used to show creativity along with word art, sound art and animation. I also learned that bulleted information is the best source to use when showing any information on a slide because it is short, to the point, and people can stay focused. I also learned that there are lots of shortcuts to making slide transitions etc. when creating a slide. Overall, I feel much more knowledgeable on PowerPoint and I think seeing most people from the classes work, I can see what I need to improve on and what I do well.
